In Sweden, the student can work alongside your studies and there are no limits on the number of hours the student can work. Students from India, the student can extend residence permit for up to six months to look for a job or to start a business. Students should first apply for a work permit through the Swedish Migration Board. When the application is successful, the student will receive a resident permit card with photo and fingerprints. Swedish government will grant Permanent Residence to the student after living continuously living in Sweden for five years and must have a valid Residence Permit.
